PAChyderm Coalition A political party cannot be all things to all people. It must represent certain fundamental beliefs, which must not be compromised to political expediency or simply to swell its numbers . . . And if there are those who cannot subscribe to these conservative principles, then let them go their way.
A Reagan Republican Organization
Ronald Reagan, March 1, 1975
The PAChyderm Coalition promotes Republican candidates who support the principles enshrined in the Constitution, as framed by our Founding Fathers, and our Reagan Republican Platform. PAChyderm Coalition endorsed candidates must support pro-life and pro-school choice legislation, embrace traditional family values, support all legal measures to combat illegal immigration and support limited government including lower taxation and unnecessary government regulation.
To that end, we educate and inform Republican primary voters and the electorate at-large through public forums. Our PAC creates and distributes print, audio, video, internet and other media in support of our endorsed candidates. If these issues are important to you, we invite you to come to our next meeting and apply for membership. Have a great day, and God Bless.
2008 Endorsements
We believe as a Reagan Republican group that the following Republicans reflect solid Republican Values. We also believe that we need to support our Republican candidates in the General Election. (* indicates candidates that have earn endorsement from the membership prior to the primary election)

PAChyderm Coalition Announces
Positions on Propositions
The PAChyderm Coalition has taken the following positions of support or opposition to the Propositions that will be on the General Election Ballot this year.
Proposition 100 - Prohibits the state, or any subdivision from directly or indirectly imposing any new tax, or fee on the sale, purchase, or transfer of real property. PAChyderm Coalition strongly supports.
Proposition 101 - Provides that no law shall restrict a person’s freedom to choose a private health care plan or system or interfere with right to pay directly for medical services. There have been concerns expressed by some of our friends that this would allow people to demand taxpayers pay for specific services. The Proposition nowhere alludes to that possibility. It, in fact, guarantees the right to choose a private health plan and pay cash for services not covered by your insurance carrier and is an impediment to further implementation of Hillary Care here in Arizona. PAChyderm Coalition strongly supports.
Proposition 102 - Provides that only a union of one man and one woman shall be valid or recognized as a marriage in this state. PAChyderm Coalition strongly supports.
Proposition 105 - Provides that an Initiative Measure that establishes, imposes or raises a tax or fee only becomes law if approved by a majority of qualified voters. With 80% turnout at the General Election it only takes a 62% majority to meet this criteria for passage and we have traditionally greatly exceeded that threshold for important issues we have supported. This is a great protection against Soros type of propositions. PAChyderm Coalition strongly supports.
Proposition 200 - Provides limited and reasonable consumer safeguards in the Payday Loan industry and eliminates the program termination date. This is something that the Legislature should handle, but they haven’t and we do not believe that they could pass and get signed into law better legislation on this issue. PAChyderm Coalition supports.
Proposition 201 - Provides that a lawsuit is the ONLY path to remedy any home defect; eliminates loser pay law; will increase the price for all new housing. PAChyderm Coalition strongly opposes.
Proposition 202 - The title of this Proposition is misleading. Prop 202 will actually gut our current law and allow employers to do business as usual by hiring illegals. PAChyderm Coalition strongly opposes.
Proposition 300 - Recommendation by the Commission of Salaries to increase the salary of legislators from $24,000 to $30,000 per year. The current economic conditions to the contrary, we feel that paying these public servants a more reasonable salary benefits Arizonans across the board. PAChyderm Coalition strongly supports.
